Stephen Heidman is the third generation of builders in the Heidman family. The company is owned and operated by Stephen Heidman who was introduced into the industry as a young boy who visited his father’s construction sites with him on Saturdays to help clean up the sites. Post secondary, Stephen completed his 5-year carpentry apprenticeship through Ontario’s Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and became a licensed carpenter by trade. Stephen worked as a carpenter for a few years, then transitioned into estimating, scheduling and supervising of projects in his father’s business. Looking to the future, Stephen’s father Howard, encouraged his son to establish his own business, to carry on the legacy. In 1989, Stephen R. Heidman Construction Ltd. was established and has continued to build on the foundation of the previous two generations. With the use of new technologies and the latest building materials the company strives for excellence in custom building.
